Platinum Land purchased this former garage and successfully achieved planning for 22 residential units in 2015. Platinum Land acieved updated valuation opinions on the site based on the planning achievements. Investors of the scheme have gained a significant increase in the value of their underlying asset.
COMPLETED DESCRIPTION
The site now consists of an exclusive development offering 22 luxurious new homes comprised of 18 one, two, and three bedroom apartments, 3 three bedroom townhouses and 1 four bedroom townhouse. Offering a little bit of modernity, finished to a high specification a perfect addition to an area which is principally made up of Victorian Terraced houses.

PLANNING
Planning was successfully achieved to convert the former newspaper office and printing works into 35 residential units and a retail unit. This building was listed as being of townscape merit.
On inspection of the building the Platinum Land team identified an opportunity to significantly increase the square footage by bringing the light industrial portion of the building into residential.

Exterior Design
The materials used saw the original Art Deco features reinstated to
the frontage building including the use of aluminium framed windows and the
retention of the black glazed ceramic tile cladding at ground floor level on the
front (north-east) elevation. materials similar to the existing
building where appropriate and introducing modern cladding and glazing
elements with the proposed 7 storey block to the rear.

Interior Design
Contemporary living at its very best, the apartments within Print House are finished to the highest specification.
