This project involved converting a former community centre into residential. We successfully achieved the planning to do this , and the building was successfully sold in December 2014.

The investors who participated in this transaction all received an excellent uplift on their investment, especially as Platinum Land entered the contract to purchase on a “subject to planning basis”. As such, after the initial 10% deposit was paid, no further funds were given to the vendors until planning was achieved.

Prior to planning being granted we actively marketed the building for sale, and as such, we were able to swiftly sell it on achieving planning. This removed the need to use Platinum  Land’s funds or our client’s funds to close the sale, after we had put down an initial deposit. This  structure resulted in a superb return on capital.
